S.O.D.A. - Simple Object Database Access

S.O.D.A. is an object API to communicate with databases.

The definition of the specification is still in progress. All design discussions are lead in public (here). You are invited to contribute.

The first specification is focussed on queries only. The design is intended to follow the following guidelines:

• simplicity
• maximum type-safety
• object reuse
• programming language independance

• You may access the current sources via anonymous CVS or HTML-browsing of the repository.
  If you want to check in sources, write a short note to the mailing list, and we (one of the admins) will add you to the developer list.
• You can also browse the current Javadocs of the specification or download them as a ZIP-file. We now also have a PDF-File of this documentation.
